Fee Schedule
Evergreen Financial Planning is a fee-only financial planning firm. This means that we accept no commissions, referral fees, or other third-party incentives based on any products we recommend to you. We make every effort to be transparent and up-front about the costs of financial planning. In support of that, following is an overview of our schedule of services.Effective August 2009

Financial Check-up $540
- Designed to provide a broad review of your financial situation and specific recommendations designed to get you on track for the future.
- Consists of a 1.5 hour interactive meeting, a written action plan, asset allocation recommendation, and retirement/goal projections.
- Includes: setting you up on our financial planning software, customized risk tolerance profile, creation of a target asset allocation, creation of a retirement savings target/plan, review of basic insurance coverage needs/issues, and review of net worth/debt issues. Retirement account/401(k) investment choices are discussed, but research of specific individual securities is not covered.
- Is not a substitute for a full financial plan, as it does not contain a similar level of detail or in-depth analysis.
Full Financial Plan starting at $1,620
A financial plan consists of a formal and detailed written analysis of your financial situation. We consider it to be the best way to protect against unforeseen financial consequences and maximize your financial opportunities. Clients often think that they have everything well covered, but may have significant inefficiencies or have missed some issues entirely.A Full Financial Plan consists of cash flow/net worth planning, a retirement savings plan, a detailed investment plan, and overview of insurance and estate planning issues. Cost: $1,620 - $2,880 based on complexity. A flat-fee quote will be provided in the get-acquainted meeting.
- Data collection and processing
- Cash Flow/Net Worth analysis and planning including debt and tax efficiency issues
- Retirement Savings Planning, including retirement back testing using historical returns, stress testing, and projections OR Retirement Income Planning for those at or near retirement
- Investment Planning, including research of specific investment recommendations
- Review of basic insurance and estate planning needs/issues
- Working Planning Session
- Final analysis, updates, and plan completion
- Plan Presentation Meeting
- Questions on your plan for up to one year (includes follow-up or implementation questions, but not significant additional scenarios or projections)
- College Planning - $360
IRA roll-over $270 first account, $90 each additional account
Getting all of your retirement accounts consolidated from former employers makes it easier to manage proper asset allocation and diversification, control costs, and can often provide much broader investment choices. It also simplifies your life.- Evergreen Financial Planning (EFP) will advise you on the roll-over process, measure your risk tolerance, and make fund recommendations for you to implement through the discount broker of your choice or as part of EFP’s investment management program.
- If you’re using EFP’s investment management program, we’ll also be able to fill out all the forms for you.
- If you’re doing the Full Financial Plan, the IRA roll-over is already included in the fee quote at no additional cost.
Investment Analysis $360 - $1,260
Even though investing is just part of the overall financial picture, it’s what most people think of when they consider financial planning.- The investment analysis will take a detailed look at your portfolio and will include specific projections and recommendations.
- It is the same level of detail as the Core Financial Plan, but only covers your investments. The fee varies based on your number of current accounts, complexity of holdings, and desired complexity going forward.
- Your analysis will be designed for you to implement on your own through a discount broker of your choice, or for Evergreen Financial Planning to manage as part of an ongoing Investment Management program.
